End Of The Road Festival calls for emerging artists to enter ‘Next Wave’ contest
Emerging artists have just one week left to submit their applications to play End Of The Road Festival this summer.
Dorset festival End Of The Road has announced a final call for applicants to enter its ‘Next Wave’ contest, an annual competition that invites promising new artists to take to the stage alongside some of the best acts in the business.
Previously named ‘Play EOTR’, the annual contest opened on 13 December and will close for applications at midnight on 26 January this year, with the successful artists joining 100 other live music acts on the lineup to perform in front of 13,500 attendees.
In the past, the contest has been won by artists including Melin Melyn, SOMOH, Beige Banquet, and Meadow Meadow.
“‘Next Wave’ is an incredible opportunity for promising new artists to take the stage alongside their favourite bands at End Of The Road and perform in front of some of the biggest music fans in the country,” said the festival team.
“End Of The Road actively encourages applications from people of every race, gender, religion, age, disability and the LGBTQIA+ community.”
